What is Heparin Tube?
Heparin Tube is divided into Lithium Heparin Tube and Sodium Heparin Tube.

Lithium Heparin Tube is coated with lithium heparin on the interior of the tube wall to inhibit clotting. The anti-coagulant heparin activates anti-thrombin,thus blocking the coagulation cascade and producing a whole blood/plasma sample instead of clotted blood plus serum. It is used to collect blood specimen for biochemistry tests and some test items in bloodrheology.
